Role Purpose/Business Unit:
Provide technical support and guidance to the Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) team, to ensure effectiveness, quality and provide a high standard of services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Quality control and assessment. Produce and ensure the required deliverables (department objectives related to disclosure of information) are met and maintained.
- To ensure strict adherence to and continuous compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements governing the disclosure of information under the various Acts applicable to Vodacom.
- Support and manage the technical infrastructure (systems utilised by LEA) for the LEA team.
- Ethical Judgment - Strong sense of responsibility and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Contribute to the design and optimisation of interception systems and disclosure platforms.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Essential)
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience (Essential)
- Experience with interception platforms, data management systems, and secure communication tools.
- Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools and security protocols.

- Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including mobile networks (GSM, LTE, 5G).
- Eligibility for Top Secret Security Clearance from the State Security Agency.
