Location: Location Independent Worker – UK 
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday with on call out of hours work once a month.

Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers. 

 

What you’ll do

 

Operating within Vodafone UK Technology Operations you will play a crucial role in supporting our biggest customers. The focus of this role is to provide tier 3 security expertise on our multi-vendor network security platforms. The main accountabilities in this role include -   


 

  • Managing complex security issues and escalations through to resolution,   
  • Vulnerability management and reporting 
  • Project engineering to support delivery of Security projects and TCV management / Reporting. 
  • Knowledge cascade to our wider assure teams 

 
 

You will:  


 

  • Carry out technical on-call activities for activities 24x7. 
  • Carry out root cause analysis for complex major incidents & escalated faults 
  • Deliver complex network and security projects 
  • Provide planning, management, support, and execution of change activity 
  • Assist with the definition, & embedding, of a consistent set of processes & measures across all key interfaces. 
  • Support the on-going development of ‘frontline’ Customer Service teams. 
  • Support new technology, service & solution acceptance from into 3rd line support. 

 

Who you are  

 

You will have:  

 

  • Good Analytical skills, fast learner. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills   
  • A basic understanding of Security (Infra and Cyber)  
  • Computer networking 

  


Essential Technical Experience: 


 

  • FW expert on 1 vendor (CISCO, Checkpoint, Palo-Alto, FortiGate) 
  • Load Balancers – f5 or any other  
  • Proxy – Zscaler  
  • Good knowledge on Network Security
