What you’ll do

As a Cyber Prevent Engineer, you will take part in the implementation of Cyber Prevent initiatives within the organization's cyber security function. More specifically, you will perform technical analysis and implement global cyber security initiatives relevant with preventive and detective cyber security controls including but not limited to PUAM, logging & monitoring, IDPS, EDR, Firewall rule base management and WAF.
 

More specifically you will: 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective deployment of preventive cybersecurity initiatives.
•    Monitor and analyze security logs to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
•    Implement and maintain Logging, IDPS and EDR solutions to protect against advanced threats.
•    Conduct thorough technical analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
•    Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to prevent and detect cyber threats.

Who you are

•    Bachelor's and/ or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
•    Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in cyber security or a related field
•    Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
•    Capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures
•    In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, standards, and frameworks
•    Knowledge of the ICT technologies and architectures
•    Strong aptitude for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices
•    Experience in delivery or operations of preventive cyber security controls (e.g. PUAM, SIEM, WAF, IPS, EDR)
•    Relevant cyber security certifications are considered a strong plus
•    Provide insight, oversight, and compliance assurance
•    Control framework enforcement
