What you’ll do

Support the IT function in managing and controlling CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring financial governance, and enabling value-driven decisions through accurate financial modelling, standardized business cases, and effective team coordination. Collaborate closely with financial controlling, IT management team and all IT functions to meet budget targets.

More specifically you will:
•    Manage and monitor IT CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and financial targets.
•    Develop and maintain standard business case templates, cost models, and financial frameworks to support investment decision-making.
•    Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Delivery Leads, and Finance to validate financial assumptions and provide consolidated views of spend and forecasts.
•    Track and report financial performance of IT initiatives, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
•    Establish and drive governance processes to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and accountability across IT initiatives.
•    Support resource and capacity planning by linking financial inputs to delivery and roadmap activities.
•    Act as a point of contact between IT and Finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting and budgeting cycles.
•    Coordinate and support the team in organizing work, prioritizing tasks, and promoting a structured, data-driven approach.
•    Lead the annual Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis for IT services and assets, ensuring accurate cost allocation, transparency, and input into budgeting and investment planning.

Who you are

•    Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or other related field 
•    3+ years of experience in budget managing and control
•    Strong understanding of IT financials, including CAPEX, OPEX, and project-based budgeting
•    Proficient in financial modelling, business case development, and cost-benefit analysis
•    Solid knowledge of financial tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems like SAP or otjer budgeting tools)
•    Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights
•    Experience in working with IT, Portfolio, and Finance teams within a matrix organization
•    Proactive, structured, and self-driven with the ability to organize team workflows and improve processes
•    Strong communication skills to translate financial data into business language and influence stakeholders
•    Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure
•    Excellent mathematical aptitude
•    Self – motivated, with ability to function with a high degree of autonomy
•    Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Greek & English
