Mobile Network Service Engineer
What you’ll do
Acting as Messaging Engineering Expert on staff level for Messaging in Vodafone DE. Activities includes to work on the architecture of the Messaging services with the supplier, to identify and implement solutions with internal technical teams, do capacity planning, drive cross functional projects and align with commercial, legal and security teams.
The role ensures the stability and uninterrupted Messaging services. It aims to maintain and improve the high level of service offered to customers at a minimum cost, contributing to company profitability and growth through innovative thinking and independent working.
• To satisfy local and global marketing requirements in the area of Messaging Services including SMS, Voicemail, IP Messaging, Public Warning Services (PWS / Cell Broadcast), and Enterprise IVR evolution for VF-DE and central infrastructure
• To define, design and implement solutions in the area of Messaging Services to cope with business or regulations requirements or technology evolution inside the European Region, including supplier management, quality certification and steering the delivery.
• To drive Messaging Services features and platform evolution inside the European Region, through harmonization & hosting projects, in cooperation with other opcos within the Region.
Who you are
• BSC degree in Engineering or Telecommunications
• At least to 2 years of experience within a relevant role
• High level of written and spoken English
• High level of written and spoken German would be a nice to have
• Knowledge of telecoms technologies, in particular technical skills, Core Network, Value Added
• Services, Network Function Virtualization, strong expertise in Messaging Services
• Ability to understand marketing needs and reference market evolution
• Strong experience managing complex and inter functional projects
• Cross-functional and multi-cultural collaboration, Team worker
• High analytic skills
• Delivering results
• Manage a changing environment
