Senior Provisioning Support Engineer
What you’ll do
Provide efficient, stable, and reliable IT services in the provisioning domain.
More specifically you will:
- Operate, administer, and maintain assigned systems or services in terms of Maintenance & administration, Incident management, Problem management, Change & Release management, all with necessary strong Vendor management
- Perform day-to-day L2 support activities, incident and service request management, problem analysis and resolution, configuration changes, health check & housekeeping activity
- Triage tickets to support team, identify bug fixes enhancements and minor code product issues and escalate to appropriate teams, fault logging tracking and resolution, batch processing, interface management, extend support during release and deployment
- Perform fault detection, analysis, isolation, rectification, and verification activities accompanied by a close cooperation with vendor and other operational teams to supply the defined quality of assigned systems in terms of an adequate Incident repair times and system/service availability
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or other related field
- At least 5 years of experience in provisioning domain
- Strong experience in Unix and Windows Server OS and Oracle/MySQL/MS-SQL DB environments
- Strong experience and knowledge of fix services technology (xDSL/ATM/Telephony/TV etc.), protocols, infrastructure, applications, services and integrations
- Strong communication skills & strong ability to influence, mentor, and collaborate with agile development teams
- Excellent analytical, incident & problem-management skills
- Self – motivated with strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple balls
- Knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST etc.)
- Strong knowledge of IT operations systems and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English and with both technical and business audiences
- Experience in Telco industry will be an asset
