OSM Chapter Lead
What you’ll be doing:
The OSM Chapter Lead is the owner of skills development, who builds expertise in the chapter and develops chapter members. Enthusiastic about transferring knowledge to others, chapter leads provide coaching and oversee personal development. In addition to leading a chapter community, the Chapter Lead will also actively participate on VSs delivering part of the scope, thus will work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Domain Architects and QA to understand requirements and prototype, architect, design and implement solutions accordingly upon OSM.
A day in your life will include:
• As a Leader:
- Guide a community of OSM experts, both designers and developers, that are working within Value Streams / Squads.
- Work with the MD Manager to provide workforce plans for recruitment and development.
- Manage team’s capacity and allocation on projects / Value Streams.
- Organize interactions between the members of the chapter to nurture best practice and encourage peer review, knowledge & tool sharing.
- Act as a supporting leader and mentor aiming at growing team’s expertise, knowledge and independence.
- Provide guidance and harmonization of chapter best-practices (Chapter principles).
- Play a pivotal role in inspiring and motivating everyone in the chapter to be the best they can be.
• As a Value Stream/Squad Member:
- Contribute, as member of an agile team, in the research, analysis, design development and testing of solutions that best suit business and technology strategy.
- Work as part of a team and design/develop highly performant and scalable solutions on OSM.
- Ensure technical integrity and quality control consistency throughout the development life cycle.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in Coaching/ Mentoring others for at least 2-3 years.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in design and development on OSM
• Good understanding of Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), Microservices, and database technologies.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Telecom industry.
