About this Role

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to design and deliver high-quality, commercially viable technology solutions for Vodafone Business International Carrier Services (VBIC). This customer-facing role involves creating L1 and L2 solutions, supporting pre-sales activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and align with VBIC’s strategic objectives.

What you will do

  • Act as the technical single point of contact for Carrier customers during requirements capture.
  • Develop and codify solution requirements, transforming them into conceptual, logical, and physical designs.
  • Create solution documentation to established standards for customer approval.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Service Management, Sales, Network Planning, and Product to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Identify new opportunities to deploy VBIC solutions and proactively engage with customers.

Who you are

  • 5+ years’ experience in telecom environments, particularly in solution consultancy or network planning.
  • Strong communication skills with experience in international technical virtual teams.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate with technical decision-makers.
  • Expertise in L1 (DWDM, OTNs) and L2 (EVPLS, EVPNs) environments; familiarity with Ciena and Huawei TX equipment.
  • Technical understanding of L3 architectures (BGP/HSRP) and carrier-grade solutions.
  • Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
