Join Our Team as a 2nd Level Operations Engineer OPM!

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for managing and optimizing IT applications? We're looking for a skilled Advanced Application Operation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll ensure the performance, stability, and reliability of Vodafone Germany's applications, making a significant impact on our success!

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the performance, stability, and reliability of Vodafone Germany's applications.
  • Ensure proper functionality of technical applications and their interfaces.
  • Handle incident and problem management across multicultural, virtual teams and different 3rd party software vendors.
  • Work on IT projects focused on reducing operation costs and ensuring stable IT environments.
  • Manage service requests and create reports for business departments.
  • Support the automation of business processes and assure operational standards within project deliveries.
  • Set up and configure application environments, perform basic functionality checks, and ensure infrastructure capacity according to project needs.
  • Communicate with vendors and partners regarding problem and service requests.

What We're Looking For:

  • Graduation degree in technology.
  • Experience with Unix, Shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQL on Oracle, Apache Tomcat, and Oracle WebLogic 12c or higher.
  • Knowledge of HTTP(s), SSH protocols, and BMC Remedy/ARS.
  • Web services methodologies like SOAP and REST
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Stable knowledge of ITIL concepts and processes.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
