Your day to day

Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality and continuity of service and the restoring time for NFVi Cloud infrastructure.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • In case of incident, assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service restoration of NFVi Cloud infrastructure
  • Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for NFVi components.
  • Assure planned work activities, upgrade NFVi components & virtualisation stack, Onboarding and implementation of Service requests ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on cloud functionalities
  • Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Multi-year experience working in Telco or IT industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT & networking technologies (Cloud, Virtualization, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
  • Team working oriented.
  • German (reading, listening) and English (spoken and written)

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • University degree: faculty of Engineering sciences (Information technology, Informatics).
  • Troubleshooting skills in Linux, virtual machines, container, networking.
  • Hands-on Experience with VMware based virtualization technologies and platforms.
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Ansible) desirable
