Join Our Team as a 2nd Line Operations Specialist - CENT! 🚀 

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for maintaining seamless IT operations? We're looking for a talented 2nd Line Operations Specialist - CENT to join our dynamic team. As a 2nd Line Operations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and collaborating with software developers to provide and improve BSS services for DE customers.  

What you’ll do

Assist in monitoring and maintaining production systems and applications to ensure availability and performance. 

Provide first-level investigation and resolution for incidents, alerts, and service requests within defined SLAs. 

Support daily health-checks and proactively identify potential issues. 

Execute standard operational tasks such as software updates, patches, and configuration changes. 

Collaborate with Engineers to troubleshoot application issues on Linux servers and escalate as needed. 

Work with ticketing systems (e.g., Global Remedy, TTWOS) to track and resolve incidents and service requests. 

Maintain detailed documentation of processes, system configurations, and resolutions. 

Assist in identifying automation opportunities and contribute to the development of scripts under Engineer guidance. 

Support problem investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of workarounds. 

Participate in on-call support (where applicable) for critical systems under supervision. 

Provide input on process improvements and service optimizations. 
 

Who you are

Basic understanding of ITIL and Agile methodology. 

Hands-on experience with Linux systems for troubleshooting and operations. 

Familiarity with SQL for querying databases. 

Basic knowledge of scripting/programming (e.g., Bash, Python, or Java). 

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and workload schedulers (e.g., Control-M). 

Basic understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP). 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Ability to work effectively in a multinational environment. 

Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
