Join Our Team as a Pega 2nd Line Operations Engineer!

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for maintaining seamless IT operations? We're looking for a talented 2nd Line Operations Specialist – PEGA to join our dynamic team. As a 2nd Line Operations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and collaborating with software developers to provide and improve PEGA Applications in Vodafone's portfolio for DE business customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Support production migration phases by assisting in planning and implementation.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for application and system issues.
  • Assist in executing incidents, problems, and service requests, including applying workarounds.
  • Conduct daily health-checks and report findings to Engineers.
  • Provide technical support for network applications and systems, escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist in service restoration, problem investigations, and change implementations.
  • Contribute to defining and tracking SLAs and key performance indicators.
  • Help identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and update system documentation.
  • Support knowledge-sharing efforts within the team.
  • Collaborate with Engineers on minor release deployments.

What We're Looking For:

  • Basic understanding of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems for basic troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, IP, Telecom architecture).
  • Knowledge of SQL for querying and troubleshooting databases.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).
  • Basic scripting skills in Bash or Perl.
  • Awareness of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS fundamentals).
  • Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, and WebLogic at a fundamental level.
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment.
