Your day to day:

2nd Line Operations of Mobile and Fixed Data/Voice Platforms in a multi-vendor environment. 

Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality, continuity of service and the restoring time for Core Transport Network elements.

In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms in order to detect and eliminate faults. Perform data configuration, software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • In case of incident, assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service and performance restoration.
  • Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for Core Transport Packet and Voice Core components.
  • Solve network related Incidents Customer Complaints within SLA by . T (Tracing and debugging on various Packet/Voice Core Networks elements (AAA, NPC, PCRF, UURSGSN, GGSN, PCRF, DNS,  etc.) and fixed network elements (BRAS/BNG). Complex traffic and E2E service trend and protocol analysisroubleshooting on DWDM /SDH components in order to ensure Network Stability. Perform Service Requests for Capacity Extensions
  • Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network. Introduce and manage cutting edge technologies including vendor and on the job training.
  • Assure planned work activities and upgrade of Core Transport Packet and Voice Core components. Onboarding and implementation of Service requests ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on functionalities.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Good knowledge of Mmobile / Fixed network architectures 
  • Experience with Core TX elements HUAWEI WDM, HUAWEI SDH and Ciena WDM. Detailed understanding of mobilePS core protocols (IP, TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP, GTP, Radius, Diameter, LDAP, SIGTRAN, RANAP, GMM,).
  • Packet Switch E2E network analysis and troubleshooting problem and change management. Analyse and interpret traces.
  • Good knowledge of a mobile network architectures 2G/43G/5G, VoLTE, NB IoT including Volte with experience in main vendors technologies (Ericsson preferred, Cisco, Nokia, Huawei, ENEA,)
  • Telco Over Cloud and virtualization layers such as VMWARE and knowledge of corporate environment and involved protocols (MPLS/ IPSEC Tunnell)
  • English (spoken and written).
  • German (spoken and written).
  • University degree: faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
  • 2 years of experience in Telecommunication, on similar position.
  • Scripting knowledge (Linux, Python, Ansible) desirable
