Join Our Team as a CENT Operations Engineer!

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a knack for keeping systems running smoothly? We're on the hunt for a talented CENT Operations Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the hero ensuring our critical business applications and IT infrastructure are always up and running!

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor & Maintain: Keep our production systems and applications performing at their best.
  • Incident Response: Swiftly tackle incidents, alerts, and service requests to keep everything on track.
  • Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate: Work with development, QA, and IT teams to implement fixes and preventative measures.
  • Automate: Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and boost system performance.
  • Optimize: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance production workflows and processes.
  • Document: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, processes, and issue resolutions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with databases like SQL/Oracle and Teradata.
  • Hands-on experience with workload schedulers such as Control-M.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, and Perl.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (BMC Remedy, Jira, etc.).
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Nexus, etc.).
  • Background in IT Operations or Production Support.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
