About this Role
We are seeking a CSI & Problem Management Specialist who will manage problems and defects across IT applications and systems (software, infrastructure, and network) used by Vodafone customers. This role involves initiating and coordinating corrective and preventive technical solutions, acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point, and ensuring effective resolution in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll do
- Oversee the development, implementation, or modification of software and hardware projects, applying Agile methodologies.
- Coordinate technical defect analysis and involve relevant teams to identify root causes and permanent solutions, while managing temporary workarounds for incidents.
- Engage and guide technical project teams to complete outstanding actions within agreed timelines and parameters.
- Provide regular updates, communications, and recommendations on project and investigation progress.
- Initiate and lead projects aimed at reducing incidents through analysis, alert centralisation, and collaboration with technical teams for resolution
Who you are
- Experienced in managing problem tickets, projects, and software defects using ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy.
- Skilled in coordinating sessions with technical teams to identify, document, and resolve problems and defects, including root cause analysis and solution approval.
- Proactive in identifying improvements using methodologies like 5 WHYs and Fishbone.
- Strong in operational escalation management and stakeholder communication.
- Holds ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge, with solid understanding of infrastructure services, software, hardware, and network applications.
- Fluent in English and experienced in project, problem, incident, or change management.
