DBA Analyst
Your day to day:
Participates in the development and implementation of software solutions/programs in accordance with client requirements and job competencies.
Contributes to the implementation of new IT projects throughout all stages, including requirement definition, planning, analysis, estimation, priority setting, as well as ensuring the implementation and testing of software solutions.
Creates scripts/programs at the database level (PL-SQL, TSQL, Perl, etc.) according to client requests or business needs

- Participates in all stages of IT projects, contributing to the implementation of new software solutions by:
- Defining technical requirements
- Evaluating different IT solutions
- Developing code/scripts
- Implementing applications/platforms in accordance with the competencies of the role
- Developing scripts and programs within IT projects and for automating activities.
- Defining technical requirements, designing, configuring, and implementing solutions that include databases.
- Ensuring optimization of existing solutions by redefining database architecture to improve efficiency or meet new business requirements.
- Designing and modifying database structures by coding data descriptions using relational database management systems.
- Participating in on-call and 24x7 hotline services or shifts as required.
- Being available for exceptional situations when asked to work night shifts, overtime, or on standby as needed.
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- Knowledge of database administration and programming in a production environment (Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, open-source databases, etc.)
- Programming knowledge in PL/SQL and UNIX/Linux shell
- SQL tuning knowledge
- Familiarity with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GRID/Cloud Control, RMAN, Datapump, Goldengate, Shareplex, etc.
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Understanding of IT Service Management concepts (e.g., ISO20000 standard)
- Knowledge of SOX principles
- General understanding of security principles.
