Your day to day:

We think working as a DBA Specialist should be an interesting challenge, especially when you’re working alongside a wonderful team, full of vibrant people who are always ready to support each other and work through difficult tasks together.

 

In this role, you will work alongside other DBA specialists and developers in Germany, supporting the team with managing database architecture, performance tuning, and data modelling in an already established ecosystem. We consider that open communication and supporting each other are the key to a successful collaboration.

 

Besides the daily activities while working on the project, you will also get the opportunity to learn new technologies through trainings to help you grow in your career journey.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Support and maintain existing database applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts and stored procedures.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and improvement of runtime behaviour for databases.
  • Document and implement best practices for database management and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define requirements and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate in a distributed team model environment.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

Must-Have:

 

  • 5 years of hands-on experience as a database developer / specialist.
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server (2012, 2019, 2022).
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL.
  • Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-have:

 

  • Experience working with Oracle and programming in PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, SQL Sentry, and BI Documenter.
