About this Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure Software team in Bucharest. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating seamless application lifecycles. You will be instrumental in streamlining development environments, managing infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and implementing robust monitoring solutions. The position offers the opportunity to work on internal tools that support enterprise-grade applications, ensuring they are secure, stable, and easy to maintain.

What you will do

  • Create, manage, and enhance application infrastructure across local and cloud environments.
  • Build and maintain software development tools and methodologies.
  • Manage complex network connectivity between applications and services.
  • Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines for reliable and efficient deployments.
  • Monitor applications and manage incidents to ensure system stability and performance.

Who you are

  • Experienced in DevOps principles and practices, with a strong understanding of multi-tiered systems and microservices.
  • Skilled in analysing DevOps toolchains and implementing improvements across the application lifecycle.
  • Proficient in setting up streamlined development environments to support software teams.
  • Experienced in CI/CD pipeline implementation for both open-source and proprietary software.
  • Comfortable using Bash, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
  • Knowledgeable in virtualisation and containerisation technologies.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and collaborative working environments.
  • Technically proficient in Unix systems, complex network scenarios, and secure-by-design infrastructure.
  • Experienced with industry-standard tools such as Git, Jenkins, Atlassian suite, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant, and Nagios.
