We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Ethical Hacking Specialist to strengthen Vodafone’s cybersecurity posture by simulating real-world attacks and identifying vulnerabilities across systems and applications. This role involves designing and executing security tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering actionable insights to improve defences. The individual will lead penetration testing engagements, manage client expectations, and contribute to the development of automated testing solutions.
What you will do
- Conduct deliberate and controlled security attacks to identify vulnerabilities.
- Design and execute security testing plans using MITRE tactics and techniques.
- Collaborate with testers, managers, and business functions to define test scopes.
- Deliver high-quality technical reports outlining risks and remediation strategies.
- Provide retesting scripts and support remediation efforts.
- Develop automation solutions for security testing and document test cases.
- Offer consultancy and support to international teams and IT projects.
Who you are
- 2–3 years of experience in penetration testing and team coordination.
- Proven track record in discovering CVEs or achievements in cybersecurity competitions.
- Certifications such as CPTS, OSEP, OSWE, CWEE, eCPTX or similar.
- University degree in IT or Cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, VMWare, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation and SOAR tools.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
