We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
About this Role
We are seeking a Penetration Testing Specialist to strengthen Vodafone’s security posture by simulating controlled attacks and identifying vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. This role involves designing and executing security tests, assessing current security solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust cyber protection across the Vodafone Group.
What you will do
- Execute penetration tests using MITRE tactics and techniques to uncover weaknesses and improve security standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security testing plans and lead specialised engagements.
- Define testing prerequisites, manage client requirements, and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Deliver detailed technical reports outlining vulnerabilities, associated risks, and practical remediation strategies.
- Provide retesting scripts and assist with remediation efforts.
- Develop automation solutions for security testing and document test cases.
- Collaborate with international teams through consultancy activities and manage specific IT project scenarios.
Who you are
- 2–3 years of experience in penetration testing and team coordination/leadership.
- Proven track record in vulnerability discovery (CVEs) or notable achievements in cybersecurity competitions, research, or innovation.
- Certifications such as CPTS, OSEP, OSWE, CWEE, eCPTX or similar.
- University degree in IT or Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with Windows (client/server), Linux/Unix, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of application development processes and proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, PowerShell, PHP, VB.NET, Assembly, etc.).
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation tools and/or SOAR platforms.
