Fixed Access Performance Expert
About this Role
As a Fixed Access Performance & Benchmarking Expert within the Group Network Fixed Access Engineering function, the individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing the stability and performance of Fixed Networks across eight European markets. This role involves leading performance benchmarking frameworks, designing and reviewing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and supporting dashboard development. The work directly contributes to improving customer experience and service quality, while promoting best practices and optimisation across Vodafone’s Fixed Access Networks.
Who are you
The ideal candidate is a technically proficient professional with extensive expertise in Fixed Access Networks (HFC, FTTH, xDSL, Wholesale). They possess a strong understanding of KPI-driven performance management and are experienced in cloud-based data analysis and automation. The individual is collaborative, outcome-focused, and capable of leading multinational projects. Their ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams makes them a valuable contributor to strategic planning and service enhancement.
What you will do
- Lead root cause analysis of performance degradation across markets and network dimensions.
- Coordinate initiatives across European markets and vendors to resolve network issues and enhance customer experience.
- Design and review KPIs for Fixed Access Networks, ensuring alignment with customer-centric performance standards.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for Fixed Access Engineering teams.
- Drive automation and data correlation projects in collaboration with Big Data departments.
- Estimate and manage budgets for benchmarking, crowdsourcing, and probe-related projects.
- Promote best practices and quality standards across markets.
- Present performance insights to senior leadership and quality boards.
- Lead optimisation activities and conduct deep dives into network performance.
What skills you need
- University degree in Telecommunications; an MBA is recommended.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a telecommunications operator or organisation managing large, diverse Access & IP infrastructures.
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Access technologies (HFC, FTTH, xDSL, Wholesale).
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) and scripting languages (Python).
- Demonstrated project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Expertise in KPI-driven performance management and automation.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong collaboration and results-oriented mindset.
