Your day to day:

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the roll-out and provisioning of complex SD-WAN/SASE solutions and services to Enterprise customers. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical validation, configuration, integration, and testing of Security Features (SASE and SSE) being deployed as part of an SD-WAN solution. 
The successful candidate will be aware of latest technologies, trends, and capabilities of the relevant vendors in this technology/security sector.
 

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  •  Engaging with Commercial and Design functions, to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, and can be supported.
  •  Validation of Technical design documentation to ensure all required information is present and correct. 
  •  Engaging with Design functions or Customers to remedy/rectify any discrepancies found during validation or provisioning of the services.
  •  Translation of Technical requirements into a format suitable for the vendor specific configuration tool(s). (Cisco/Fortinet/VMware)
  •  Ensuring all tasks are completed as per the required schedule to avoid and delays in roll-out schedules
  •  Commissioning and testing of newly provided services with the customer to ensure they are working as expected
  •  Completion of in-life changes to the service (adhering to change-management process) , validating and ensuring changes will have no impact to the service or security posture of the solution or the policy compliance.
  •  Provide feedback, assistance, and guidance from a technological and process perspective to enhance and improve customer experience.
     

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  •     Proven expertise/experience in Security technologies
  •     Knowledge of multi-vendor SD-WAN and Firewall configuration 
  •     Knowledge of SASE security functions. SWG, CASB, FWaaS, ZTNA
  •     Strong understanding of Network technologies  (SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, TCP/UDP)
  •     Can demonstrate an understanding of Cyber Defence best practices (CISSP,CISA,CISM,CCSP)
  •     Positive team player attitude, ability to collaboratively address any complex issues.
  •     Strong communication and presentation skills

 

Desirable

  •     Vendor specific Security qualifications (e.g., NSE4-7, CCNP Security)
  •     Knowledge of both Mobile and Fixed Networks
  •     Knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure)
  •     Security and IT qualifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, ITILv3, CISA,CISM,CCSP)
  •     Understanding of SW Development, DevOps, and API methodology.
