IP Multimedia Subsystem 2nd Line Engineer
Your day to day:
Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality, continuity of service and the restoring time for Packet and Voice Core Network elements. 2nd Line Operations of Fixed Data/Voice Platforms in a multi-vendor environment.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
- In case of incident, assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service and performance restoration.
- Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network, e.g. Daily Walkthroughs and Health checks for Packet and Voice Core components.
- Solve network related Customer Complains within SLA. Trace and debug at network level (tracing tools) or at network element level application or linux OS.
- Complex traffic and E2E service trend and protocol analysis.
- Assure planned work activities and upgrade of Packet and Voice Core components. Onboarding and implementation of Service requests ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on functionalities.
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- Linux OS.
- IMS protocols SIP, SDP, RTP, DNS, ENUM, DIAMETER, provisioning.
- Security layer (TLS, SSL HTTPS etc.), workflow related to signed certificates (request and installation) on Application and Web Services.
- IP Transport basic certification (e. g. Cisco CCNA) or equivalent.
- Multi-year experience working in Telco or IT industry.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- University degree: faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
- 2 years of experience in a similar role in Operations and Maintenance activities.
- 1 year experience in scripting and automation (Python, Ansible) desirable
