IoT Service Designer Specialist
Your day to day:
As a Service Design Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end service design of IoT products and services within your assigned project. This includes everything from initial assessment and business process design to documentation and alignment with technical and operational teams. You’ll define customer-centric solutions and contribute to the operational support model, ensuring a seamless experience across the Sell-Build-Run cycle—onboarding, billing, and support.
One of the key deliverable will be the Service Design Document, which helps optimize cost, improve customer experience, and embed best practices throughout the service lifecycle.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
• Help define service design process across the full lifecycle of IoT products and services within assigned projects
• Support the team in mapping out business processes aligned with technical and operational capabilities
• Document service design deliverables, including the Service Design Document, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement the operational support model
• Ensure consistency and quality across the Sell-Build-Run cycle, including onboarding, billing, and support
• Help seamless customer experiences through structured service design
With these skills you are a great candidate:
• University degree, with preference on technology [e.g. engineering, telecommunications, computer science];
• Experience in one of the following areas: IT business analysis, process modelling and design, problem management, consulting and customer experience;
• Proven knowledge of customer lifecycle design, as well as a good understanding of how telecom networks and applications work together, so to assess the impact to underlying business processes;
• Project coordination experience and proven ability to operate within a geographically dispersed matrix organization;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to adjust own style to suit audience and achieve objectives;
• Influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to present the "to be" picture to an audience with diverse background and obtain stakeholders' buy-in.
