Your day to day:

You will have a wonderful opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and be involved in all parts of the project, from solution design to deployment and maintenance, thus taking ownership of your products.

 

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

 

  • Offer technical expertise in terms of performance, resilience, compliance and security of software products and orchestration pipelines.
  • Design, develop, maintain, improve and test new software products that will achieve high performing automation and orchestration capabilities.
  • Participate in every aspect of development and implementation, working with various technical and non-technical teams to fully understand business requirements.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analysing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. 
  • Guide and support other software engineers to ensure the right technology and design decisions are made and help grow their knowledge.
  • Lead a team of developers and create a culture of learning, enabling the engineers in the team to achieve both their operational goals, as well as personal development goals.
  • Define, create and follow up on individual & team’s objectives, aligned with the business strategy and the products’ roadmaps.

 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

 

  • Extensive experience working with Java programming language (knowledge of programming languages like Python/GO it is a plus).
  • Previous experience in leading Java software development teams (technical or people management) is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of public (AWS, GCP, Azure) cloud providers (certifications are considered a plus). 
  • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience designing, building, testing and deploying microservice-based solution architectures.
  • Previous people management experience is preferred 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
