Your day to day:

Provide support to NOC teams during the interventions on complex and critical incidents occurred in Core Mobile / Fixed Vodafone DE.
                                                                

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

•    Takes the ownership of the incident and acts as the primary level of escalation;
•    Speaks with NOC engineers and asks for all useful information related to Outage in place – ensures the NEV and/or Outage Notification has been sent in due time; 
•    Involves in problem solving other parties: 2nd level, Vendor, NOC, SMC, Partner management, 3rd party, in order to provide a prompt recovery of the business within the specified SLA;
•    Manages and coordinates the escalation process: Technical: the support of higher technical skills required to solve the problem; Hierarchical: a manager with more authority to be consulted in order to take decision that is beyond the competencies assigned to this level.
•    Provide input and coordinate the development of the Major Incident Report after the Outage has been closed and all details are available, including initial recommendations to prevent the re-occurrence of a similar incident.
•    Building team competence level (In collaboration with 2nd Line Operations teams, 
work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms and develop internal training for NOC engineers and technicians);
 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    Advanced knowledge of telecommunication services, networks and technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, IP, EPC and VoLTE); 
•    Advanced knowledge regarding Core Network elements (MSS, MGW, HLR, CSDB, SGSN/MME, GGSN/SGW/PGW, STP, SBC, CSCF etc.);
•    Advanced knowledge Valued Added Service (AAA, IN, PCRF, DNS, messaging) and Cloud (Hardware, Virtualization & Application layers)   
•    Experience on call scenarios, routing and protocols in Mobile and Fixed Networks; 
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills; 
•    Stakeholder management;
•    Team working oriented; 
•    Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines;
•    Technical university degree: faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology; 
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant area; 
•    Good Knowledge of English language (written and spoken);       
•    Good Knowledge of German language (written and spoken).
