About this Role:
We are seeking a proactive and communicative individual to join our Network Operations Centre (NOC) as a 1st Line Network Support Technician. This role is essential to maintaining service continuity across Vodafone Operating Companies by managing first-line support activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and escalating network faults, maintaining documentation, and ensuring effective communication with internal teams and suppliers.
What you will do:
- Identify and escalate network faults, including software and hardware issues, in accordance with established procedures and agreements.
- Provide first-line technical services related to live network information.
- Perform telecom network maintenance activities requiring analytical thinking and technical understanding.
- Document network incidents clearly and accurately using designated systems.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal Vodafone teams to support issue resolution and service continuity.
Who you are:
- Able to understand technical concepts and apply basic data analysis.
- Comfortable working with virtual project teams and engaging with international customers.
- Possess general knowledge of telecom architectures and protocols across mobile and fixed network domains (access, core, transmission).
- Fluent in English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
- Completed secondary education; ongoing higher education is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative and innovative environment.
