Your day to day:

Take a consultative lead in the technical design and delivery of Vodafone’s managed connectivity and IoT solutions to enterprise customers.

This is a customer-facing role that combines technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen to drive innovative IoT solutions across various industries.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of Solution Engineers to design and deliver connectivity solutions for diverse applications and industries.
  • Provide technical guidance to regional Technical Sales Leads during pre-sales and qualification activities.

Solution Design:

  • Assess technical complexity and feasibility of IoT solutions on Vodafone’s platforms and networks (Global and Regional).
  • Produce clear and concise technical documentation, including RFI/RFP responses, and achieve customer technical solution approval.

Project Delivery:

  • Drive the end-to-end solution lifecycle, from pre-sales consultation and RFP/bid processes to implementation, deployment, and customer sign-off.
  • Support customers during deployments, testing, in-life feature updates, and technical change requests.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure timely solution design and testing completion.
  • Act as the technical point of contact, liaising with customers and internal teams to meet project goals.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in cellular 3GPP/LPWAN/satellite radio technologies and IoT radio coverage requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of data communication, networking, software applications, and IT systems.
  • Proven track record in technical pre-sales and solution delivery roles.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships at the Director level.
  • Exceptional communication and decision-making skills, balancing technical and business priorities.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the IoT market and its applications.
  • Experience in managing complex technological change.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in an international environment.
