Senior Python Developer
Your day to day:
The User Access Management senior engineer oversees development, coordinates the dev team and writes code for a workflow automation and repository tool in the Global UAM team. The key element of the security compliance mission is a central account repository, which ensures a clear mapping of every datacentre account & privilege to identities of Vodafone employees and suppliers and a proper lifecycle management. As Vodafone has a large portfolio of datacentre technologies, this roles responsibility is a constant adaption of the tool stack to the changing DC world.
The Global User Access Management team provides services like access workflow automation, joiner/leaver/review controls on security/GDPR/SOX level and a service desk for direct contact. The senior developer enables the team to deliver audit-proof software solutions and ensure security compliance.
With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business
- Coordinate software delivery according to initial requirements, managing all aspects involved in the software implementation process from design, into development, through testing and finally continuous integration
- Writes high-quality code, tackling the most complex areas of the product
- Consulting of internal/external customers on UAM workflow automation and integration of other access management solutions into the UAM tool stack
- Create new software solution designs and architectures for the integration of the new demands into OneUAM
- General Code review, clean-up of the code, error troubleshooting
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- Expert in Python, Django experience is a plus
- Good knowledge of structured query language (SQL),
- Well-developed technical understanding of access concepts across a broad range of IT platforms (Cloud/OS/DB/AD/LDAP/IDM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with internal teams to deliver results
- Good knowledge of SOX/GDPR and data centre process standards
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Master of Computer Science or similar qualification
- Good knowledge of datacentre infrastructure and automation solutions
- Very skilled in spoken and written English
- Ability to coordinate work across an international and distributed teams (SCRUM/PRINCE2)
