Your day to day:

  • Software Asset Management – including mitigating financial and/or legal risks,
  • Licensing & Compliance – including compliance assurance (CAST-T, ISO27001, Vendor Audits)
  • Strategy and Governance – including Policy management, governing controls, monitoring and toolset management
  • IT Asset Security – including identification of software and/or hardware risks
  • SLA and KPI adherence, ensuring both team and contracted third parties are accountable for performance, and measures are regularly reported

  • Assist in the daily management of software and technology assets within the organization;
  • Regularly review software deployment and usage to identify and outline potential efficiencies and cost savings;
  • Understand Software License risk management and work with security to identify and remove blacklisted software;
  • Review software license requests prior to implementation to determine if reuse or the procurement of new licensing is required;
  • Facilitate the delivery of complex software requests, ensuring effective re-use of existing licenses where possible;
  • Gather, organize, and analyze software usage trend data to determine maintenance/support requirements and coordinate with business lines to effectively determine strategy for acquisition/renewal of maintenance support program enrolments.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Previous demonstrated experience within the Licensing / Software Asset Management /IT Asset Management areas;
  • Hands-on experience of using of ITAM toolsets, preferably SNOW Software, BMC Spider and/or SaaS Cloud Portals;
  • Good knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Processes (Acquire, Deploy, Manage, Retire, Plan), ITAM analysis and technical support for procurement decisions of new licenses/software/hardware and renewals of licensing/warranty requirements;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams across multi-functional boundaries;
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests;
  • Advanced English and German language;
