We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
About this Role
We are seeking a Marketplace Solution Architect to join our Vodafone Business IT Marketplace team. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering end-to-end solution architectures that support a wide range of products and services across Vodafone Business. You will work closely with Enterprise Architects, Platform Owners, and Technical Designers to assess business demands, lead technical impact assessments, and coordinate solution architecture across the marketplace ecosystem. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies including Digital Channels, e-commerce, IoT, Cloud & Security, and Unified Communication, with a strategic focus on global product management and technical ownership.
What you will do
- Analyse business requirements and lead technical impact assessments
- Create and coordinate end-to-end solution designs aligned with architecture blueprints
- Define platform/product features, user stories, and technical specifications
- Contribute to technology strategy and roadmap development
- Evaluate and manage technology vendors
- Stay updated with technology trends and ensure customers benefit from the latest innovations
- Produce high-level and detailed designs, service/process designs, and acceptance documents
- Influence senior stakeholders across markets to ensure timely delivery
- Support budgeting discussions related to capex/opex
Who you are
- Experienced in agile platform/product development within the technology or telecoms industry
- Proven track record in designing and implementing e-commerce platforms and customer-facing cloud solutions
- Skilled in solution architecture, virtual team management, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Holds a university degree in computer science, electrical/electronic/telecommunications engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mobile operator or global tech company
- Proficient in Digital Channels, microservices, APIs, middleware, and BSS technologies
- Familiar with SSO technologies (Open ID, SAML, OAuth) and Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, TM Forum)
- Knowledgeable in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, REST APIs) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
