About this Role

The Solution Testing Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of OSS Fulfilment systems across multiple European markets. This individual will define and execute test scenarios and automation scripts, manage the lifecycle of testing tools, and contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at harmonising and consolidating testing practices. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in software testing and telecommunications. You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and you are comfortable working in a multicultural, multi-market environment. You are passionate about continuous improvement and have a collaborative mindset that enables you to work effectively across teams and cultures.

What you will do

  • Define, plan, and execute test scenarios and cases for OSS Fulfilment systems.
  • Develop and maintain test automation tools and scripts to enhance regression testing and coverage.
  • Analyse business requirements to derive effective test strategies.
  • Contribute to a three-year strategic roadmap for testing and automation, driving harmonisation and consolidation.
  • Manage the lifecycle of assigned test tools, ensuring compliance with security and capacity requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
  • Prepare final testing reports and software quality approval documentation.
  • Support and coach junior team members in alignment with team strategy.

What skills you need

  • Proven expertise in software testing methodologies and execution.
  • Strong understanding of software technologies and their vulnerabilities.
  • Cost and performance-oriented mindset.
  • Technical proficiency to drive innovation in complex environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across functional and cultural boundaries.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications or IT engineering.
  • Familiarity with IT standards such as ITIL and ETOM.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
