About this Role

We are seeking a skilled System Engineering Specialist to join our Group Data Centre team in Bucharest, contributing to the transformation of data centre infrastructure through SDN evolution. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in cloud-native development, agile methodologies, and infrastructure automation. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimise SDN components using Azure and Terraform, while ensuring high-quality delivery through CI/CD pipelines.

What you will do

  • Collaborate within agile teams to develop and evolve SDN infrastructure.
  • Estimate and prioritise user and technical stories for backlog planning.
  • Design and develop modules aligned with UX/UI and technical requirements.
  • Execute unit and integration tests; support acceptance testing.
  • Conduct peer reviews and uphold coding standards.
  • Manage technical debt and optimise user stories.
  • Implement infrastructure in Azure using Terraform with secure state management.
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated delivery and validation.
  • Provide operational support including incident and problem management (Level 2 and 3).

Who you are

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in programming or systems analysis using agile frameworks.
  • Proficient in multiple programming and markup languages including Python, JavaScript, YAML, and SQL.
  • Experienced in cloud-native and converged infrastructure environments.
  • Skilled in tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, and Puppet.
  • Familiar with Azure services and Terraform.
  • Understanding of SDN-based core network concepts.
  • Exposure to CI/CD methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) and UX/UI knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for Terraform workflows.
