Your day to Day

You will be responsible for the testing of different systems in the OSS fulfilment domain. The respective systems cover all access technologies and all customer segments in different European markets in the scope of the Network Strategy & Engineering vertical. 

 

The responsibility includes all activities for testing a Software artefact from the definition of the testing strategy, selecting the testing tool suite, definition, alignment and execution of test scenarios and test cases for the different software / tool releases. 

 

The team manager evolves the test automation strategy, roadmap and automation coverage for OSS Fulfilment tools. The team manager also presents his strategy or projects in his area to the management to up to SLT if needed. Cost evolution and cost effectiveness are the main KPI alongside the Software Quality KPI.

 

You will be accountable for the lifecycle of the test tools within his team which includes update/upgrade mgmt., fulfilment of security requirements and capacity management.

 

You will create, maintains and reports the relevant KPI for his testing activities to the main stakeholders up to Senior Management level.

 

You will leads, coaches and develops the managed employees according to the company strategy continuously.

  • You will be in charge of execution of test scenarios and test cases during system and acceptance test phases of a Software delivery
  • Selection of test and test automation tools together with pro-active vendor management for test tool suite
  • You will continuously drive and increase degree of automation for testing, regression testing and system integration/ deployment
  • You will be in charge of development and execution of a 3-year strategic roadmap for the testing and test automation in responsibility and define & execute the respective projects, driving harmonisation and consolidation.
  • You will analyze the business requirements and technical trends for testing and test automation in the markets and define the test suite evolution roadmap
  • Manage, motivate, coach and develop the staff in a cross cultural /multinational team 
  • You will be coordinating suppliers and internal teams for e.g. bug fixing to ensure the timely delivery in expected quality and to ensure cost efficiency

  • You have proven people management skills to lead a multinational team  
  • You have the ability to give orientation to the team, to prioritise and to reduce complexity  
  • Strong cost and performance orientation  
  • Strong communication skills to manage and influence relevant stakeholders in all markets and on Group level 
  • Ability to work across functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and to drive change 
  • Excellent knowledge in methods of  IT- & Software Testing, Project & Lifecycle Management and  IT Standards e.g. ITIL, ETOM etc. 
  • Experience in a managerial role or proven track record in leading bigger project teams 
  • More than 5 years professional experience in Telecommunications or IT engineering. Multi-cultural / multinational experience desirable.
