What you’ll do
Design, build & operate the Local Vodafone Business Customer Security Operations Centre (Local VBC SOC) located in Bucharest. The Local VBC SOC team lead will build the technical and human infrastructure needed to deliver managed security services with robustness, efficiency and operational excellence. The Local VBC SOC will safeguard our clients’ digital assets and must exceed customer needs and requirements.
He/she will give efficient, innovative and leading-edge security guidance and provide the strategic vision to define, build and scale the Local VBC SOC. He/she will build, lead and develop a team of threat analysts and responders, security specialists and engineering experts that will manage core and advanced SOC services, modular security services and security consultancy services. The Local VBC SOC Team Lead will be accountable of the CapEx and OpEx to set the services and will report to the Head of Cybersecurity Services, working in an international matrix environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Accountable for the end-to-end set up and delivery of the Local VBC SOC in Bucharest, working in partnership with the Central VBC SOC and other local VBC SOCs, Vodafone Business and Technology functions.
- Accountable to define the human and technical infrastructure to set up the Local VBC SOC in Bucharest.
- Accountable to deliver the portfolio of Managed Security Services and preventive and reactive functions, including:
- Endpoint, network and cloud security products, Awareness, Identity, Threat intelligence and Vulnerability management services.
- Incident detection and response, forensic analysis and post incident review and improvement
- Accountable to manage the product and customer lifecycle of cybersecurity services, meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
Who you are
- Deep understanding of operational concepts and procedures within cybersecurity services, with focus in managing and responding to security incidents.
- Experience in managing security projects and teams.
- Knowledge of Vodafone Business wide portfolio of product and services, with strong expertise on assurance/operations.
- Experience in hands-on delivery of services for end customers, managing delivery teams with end-to-end accountability of the customer service.
- Experience in setting up new technology/infrastructure to serve a new service portfolio.
- Excellent leader of people with ability to build relationships, engage and inspire.
- Strong collaboration skills harnessed towards delivering the right outcomes for Vodafone and our customers.
Qualifications and certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering departments (preferably Electronics or Computer Engineering)
- Preferably with security certifications such as GIAC GCIH, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+).
