Your day to day:

Manage projects concerning Cloud & Connectivity information systems for NSE external customers (European Vodafone markets), align with stakeholders and ensure proper prioritisation of projects and timely delivery of key milestones.


The team leader in this role coordinates the development of specific information systems (HW & SW IP routing & switching systems, SDN, optical systems – belonging to TTE National Network Infrastructure) for external customers. He/she analyses and observes client requirements, establishes priorities and deadlines, manages the project budget and resources to ensure the delivery is in line with the agreed plan and quality KPIs. He/she maintains all TTE network KPI’s, defines and maintains resilience and business continuity processes and measures in line with budget availability and approved plans. In the role the team lead monitors network performance and performs continuous traffic optimisation, while ensuring cost efficiencies where applicable.


The team leader will drive and coordinate the implementation of market specific augmentation of the Software Defined Network platforms, which will be coded/integrated by either internal teams or suppliers.
He/she performs high level project management activities for a portfolio of projects and coordinates engineers involved in the design, engineering, testing and delivery of such Cloud & Connectivity information systems projects for external clients (VF European markets). He/she manages people within the team, facilitates their development and ensures their best performance.

•    Manage Cloud & Connectivity projects related to information systems for fixed & mobile customers (IP routing & switching, SDN, optical systems – belonging to TTE National Network Infrastructure)
•    Define the high level project plan and phasing, align with stakeholders and establish priorities to ensure timely project delivery to external clients
•    Supervises the detailed project plan activities, monitors and cross-check them on regular basis
•    Perform risk & change management in order to ensure business requirements are met, manage the project budget and ensure a proper governance
•    Report project status to all stakeholders and ensure good communication within the team and with the main stakeholders, internal and external
•    Analyse client requirements and ensure that solutions designed & delivered by C&CE-TTE are matching the requirements and are aligned with the technology guidelines
•    Manage and coordinate people within the team, motivate, coach and develop department staff
 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    Excellent understanding of telecom networks & services (fixed & mobile). Have an E2E perspective. Experience with large multi-vendor Core & Backhaul Transport networks and IP/MPLS & Optical Technologies  
•    Process & project management
•    Good understanding of the SW lifecycle: development, testing and acceptance, implementation, performance optimization and troubleshooting
•    Excellent leadership skills within a multi-national, multi-cultural team. Motivate team towards achievement of business objectives and plan development of people
•    Conceptual & Analytical thinking. Able to challenge given solutions and capitalise on innovation opportunities
•    Stake holder management capability and strong target orientation


Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    University degree in the area of communication, electrical engineering or information technology
•    Min. 5 yrs. Experience in development of fixed net, mobile network and network services
•    Min 5 yrs. Experienced in leading versatile teams, complex projects / programs and managing budget
