About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Technical Product Manager to lead the delivery of complex B2B product development projects within VOIS Hungary. This role is pivotal in ensuring that time-sensitive and business-critical initiatives are executed efficiently, aligning with customer expectations, organisational capabilities, and Vodafone’s strategic direction. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, oversee significant budgets, and act as a key liaison between commercial product management and technical delivery teams.
What you’ll do
- Lead the implementation of high-impact projects and programmes, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
- Manage project budgets up to €10 million, including planning, forecasting, and financial oversight.
- Execute development projects using waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies, adapting to various demand and delivery models.
- Act as the primary interface between local commercial product management and cross-functional teams, including network engineering, IT, customer operations, and external partners.
- Collaborate with commercial product managers during the concept phase to define realistic scopes that meet customer needs and align with internal capabilities.
- Oversee the requirements and solution definition phases, ensuring all functional and non-functional aspects—including security, legal, and regulatory requirements—are addressed.
- Conduct user-centric testing aligned with the customer journey to validate solutions.
- Contribute to product lifecycle management by identifying and implementing enhancements to existing services and customer experiences.
- Manage local governance processes and ensure compliance with internal product management standards.
Who you are
- A strategic thinker with strong conceptual, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Quick to grasp new products, systems, and data structures.
- Experienced in leading large, interdisciplinary teams across functional areas.
- A collaborative communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Confident in engaging with senior decision-makers and aligning project goals with business strategies.
- Customer-focused with a strong understanding of market dynamics and economic considerations.
- Proficient in project management methodologies including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level in both languages).
