Your place in the team 
The Web Developer Manager leads and manages a team of web developers to design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites. The role involves project management, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure high-quality web solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

 

You will be involved in the following tasks 
•Lead, mentor, and manage a team of web developers, including setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing career development support.
•Recruit, train, and onboard new team members. 
•Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
•Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and establish timelines.
•Provide technical guidance and support to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies.
•Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing innovations as appropriate.
•Ensure web applications and websites meet high standards of quality, usability, and performance.
•Oversee testing processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
•Collaborate with other departments, such as design and business teams, to ensure web development projects align with organizational needs and objectives.
•Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and management.
•Continuously evaluate and improve development processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
•Implement and maintain development standards, documentation, and best practices.
•Manage the CAPEX of the web development chapter.
•Manage external resources and vendors, take part in vendor evaluation process.
•Review and approve vendor’s proposals and quotations.
•Facilitate and participate in design discussions with software architect, make sure that the technical solution fit into the existing and target architecture.
•Take ownership and improve the quality of the portal, webshop, selfcare applications, AI driven life chat functionality and other web application which are related to the team.
•Ensure the team has the necessary tools, technologies, and resources to complete their tasks effectively.
•Represent the team.

We are looking for you if you have 
•IT or Telco specific university degree
•At least 8 years working experience
•Minimum of 6 years of experience in web development, including 4 years in a managerial or leadership role
•Agile and waterfall software development environment and methods
•Lean / agile portfolio and program management 
•Capacity planning and workforce plans)
