Role Purpose:

    Technology and Tools Planning: Develop and execute technology and tools planning strategies that align with local, global, and regulatory standards.
    Network Security Architecture: Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure network security designs are compliant with security standards.
    Secure by Design (SBD): Oversee the Secure by Design initiatives from a cybersecurity perspective, ensuring all new designs comply with security standards
    New Products and Services: Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and  technologies to enhance Vodafone public cloud security Portfolio
    Technology Management: Provide consultancy and manage customers (internal and external) requirements and provide them with recommendation, HLD, LLD and owns the implementation.
    Secure Public cloud: Ensure all Vodafone security controls are applied to our public cloud tiers (Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS)).
    Enterprise Business Services: Support enterprise business services, both cloud and non-cloud, ensuring robust security measures are in place.
    Capacity Planning: Maintain and expand capacity planning for all cybersecurity tools, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities:

1.    IT Network Security    •    Plan , design, implement and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles to Vodafone IT Network Security and Vodafone Enterprise/public cloud Customers
     Review client requirements to identify their needs and build security technical offer with our partners
    Ensure that all streams running on the right track and fulfilling their main objectives.
2.    Optimize Network Quality    •    Provide Study of new Security Systems / Tools or Features.
    Study of new Security Systems / Tools or Features
    Develop and implement software tools to monitor the Security systems and to provide useful statistics, Trend Analysis using Historical data to capture the Subscriber behaviour/Profile across different seasons and occasions.

3.    Technology development         Alignment with Vodafone Group plans.
    Liaise with overall Technology Strategy.
4.    Cross function , support and communication    •    Manages Maintain a close liaison with all departments within Vodafone.
•    Supports Marketing, product & services, Radio and core in network connectivity and new services.
    Ensure projects and activities delivery with vendors on time and within allocated budget.

Technical / Professional Expertise
§    B.Sc. Communication/Computer Engineering or Computer science is a must
§    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Network and Security positions preferred at least 2 years’ experience in systems integration or Managed Security Services in a top tier professional services firm
Technical skills:
§    Experience in NGFW, intrusion detection/prevention, WAF, Email security
§    Deep Knowledge about Cyber Security Controls and awareness of global cyber security standards and compliance programs is a MUST.
§    And/or experience in EDR, SIEM solutions and Endpoint security.
§    And/or experience in design/implement/seize IAM, PAM, SSO, MDM solutions
§    Preferred experience in technologies SOAR, UBA
§    Experience in designing secure network architectures, virtualization technologies, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS and web applications
§    Good knowledge with security compliance standards is a plus
§    Good Knowledge with Cloud technologies and cloud security
§    Good knowledge in payment solutions security
§    Vendor Certification (Fortigate, Palo Alto, Forcepoint, F5, …) is a plus
§    Deep understanding of business dynamics and the agility to adapt to changes quickly and effectively.
Certifications:
§    PCNSE is a plus
§    Firewall Management: Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert) or equivalent is a must
§    Cisco Networking Certifications is a must.
