About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Energy Data Management professional to lead the vision, design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of an Energy Data Management (EDM) product. This role serves as the key connection between business stakeholders, customers, digital teams, and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality data-driven solutions that help identify energy cost-saving opportunities. The role combines product ownership, stakeholder management, data analytics expertise, and strategic roadmap leadership.

What you’ll do

  • Define and own the EDM product vision whilst coordinating with local markets, digital teams, and external partners. 
  • Create and manage short-term and long-term product roadmaps, ensuring delivery priorities align with business outcomes.
  • Gather, define, prioritise, and communicate product feature requirements and user stories for development teams.
  • Review and approve delivery plans, acceptance criteria, and completed product enhancements.
  • Proactively identify and help resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and opportunities through stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions support strategic objectives.
  • Support and develop team members by providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Drive the delivery of a high-quality product that helps identify and enable energy-saving opportunities through data analytics.

Who you are

  • Experienced in product ownership and successful delivery across the full product lifecycle.
  • Skilled in managing customer enhancement requests and translating business needs into product capabilities. 
  • Strong understanding of data models, database design, data mining, and data segmentation approaches.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and communicate complex information effectively. 
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and data-driven business environments. 
  • At least five years of experience in data analysis or business data analysis roles. 
  • Experience delivering measurable energy-saving outcomes through data analytics. 
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, databases including SQL, big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Impala, and Spark, and programming languages such as Python. 
  • Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and work collaboratively across teams.
