Role Purpose:

•    Planning all configuration changes, H/W expansions, and S/W upgrades for Fixed core Services: DPI, CDNs, SDWAN, and DNS following change management guidelines
•    Provisioning new fixed core services nodes, finalizing all acceptance requirements, and handover to operations team
•    Manage end to end TX capacity planning for Fixed Core Services including DPI, SDWAN, DNS, and Cashing nodes 
•    Assure peering links capacity is designed to maintain the required availability & operating within the design KPIs
•    Building highest technical skills
•    Adequacy/compliance to company values 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for planning of fixed core services including DPI, CDNs, SDWAN, and DNS
•    Responsible for transforming core metrics to technical KPIs, calculating TX requirements for next fiscal year for the peering links
•    Responsible for ordering TX according to core metrics 
•    Managing stakeholders across different departments for links ordering, activation & scheduling dates (Acquisition, Fixed Planning & Design, Operation teams)
•    Follow up to ensure links and Fixed core Services nodes are activated and manage end-to-end any technical issues that might arise
•    Achieve efficient utilization of peering links and CDN available solutions
•    Align & participate in services distribution over current & new CDN solutions for efficient use & best utilization impact over Core ring & Int’l (CDNs installation, Farm upgrade/backup)
•    Maintaining up-to-date core services nodes with the latest recommended software version
•    Maintaining Fixed core services nodes resiliency
•    Planning S/W upgrades & configuration hardening triggered by security requirements

Skills Required:

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Education:
B.Sc. Degree in communication / electronics engineering
Work Experience: 
Minimum of 3 years; post qualification experience preferably in an ISP environment.
Technical skills:
    BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
    3 years’ experience in ISP or equivalent experience.
    Excellent computer skills.
    Strong DPI knowledge and relevant work experience is a MUST
    Caching and CDNs solutions knowledge is a MUST
    SDWAN knowledge is a MUST
    CCNA, CCNP, CCNP-SP is a MUST.
    CCIE-SP is a plus.
    Python knowledge is a plus.

Personal skills:
Analytical and interpersonal skills are essential; together with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels. 
Special requirements:
A good command of written and spoken English is required.
