Role Purpose:

Hardware Operation Specialist is responsible for the management and maintenance of all business’s IT assets. Will be also responsible to perform Physical Asset verification and provide evidence of compliance.

To provide operational support for all VOIS EG assets such as laptops and desktops in VOIS EG serving 10K employees approximately to meet the expected availability and performance.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

 

  1. Responsible for organizing, and implementing any new assigned service operations.
  2. Engaging and driving projects within Office IT area and make sure all timelines are achieved.
  3. Handle new projects ideas till getting live.
  4. Implementing Cost Saving ideas and achieve the required efficiency based on the yearly target

 

Technical Operation:

  1. Manage team day-to-day hardware operations.
  2. Floor walks to identify any damaged or un-used Assets
  3. Manage exit clearances (IT Asset)
  4. Handling customer escalations and ensure proper handling to improve customer satisfaction and productivity.
  5. Asset management process adherence.
  6. Follow-up on the daily health checks and operational excellence activities.
  7. Manage exit clearances (IT Asset)
  8. Laptop and desktops imaging 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Service Support and troubleshooting.
  • Professional Business communication skills.

Strong analytical thinking.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

BSC in Engineering or Computer Science 

Work Experience: 
1.    4 years of experience in IT Support/ auditing and tracking function. Among which at least 3 years in leading position.
2.    Professional level in Microsoft Office is a must 
Personal skills:
3.    Interpersonal skills.
4.    Business and customer oriented.
5.    Dedication, sense of ownership.
6.    Ability to work in teams.
7.    Can work on shift basis to cover whole week
8.    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
9.    Preferably experience in a large production environment.
