About this Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Lead to oversee and manage IT operations within VOIS Egypt. This role ensures the implementation of VOIS-wide IT strategies locally, focusing on operational excellence, risk management, and business continuity. The individual will act as a key interface between service providers and local business units, ensuring systems availability and compliance with global standards.

What you will do

  • Ensure all IT operations are carried out in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Monitor production KPIs and perform quality controls.
  • Act as the escalation point between service providers and local business teams.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise IT staff.

Who you are

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Operations within an international IT service organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, including Windows OS, servers, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
  • Practical experience in risk management and business continuity.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001.
  • ITIL Foundation certification (mandatory).
  • MCSE certification (mandatory); CCNA/CCNP is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
