Role Purpose :

Execute and operate all Data center operations activities over 24/7 shift base covering Datawarehouse and Billing cycles generation and backup , housekeeping and monitoring activities for all Vodafone Egypt systems hosted in the Vodafone Egypt datacenter .
    Data Processing, 
    Data Center Experience, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Independence, Productivity, Confidentiality, Documentation Skills, Problem Solving Positive service attitude.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 
•    Maintains the quality criteria of the processes adopted by the service.
•    Monitor and reports the Datacenter activities and performance status 24/7 as L1 .
•    Develops the lessons learned and make sure that the service delivery is up to quality requirements and trigger the process improvements.
•    Handles service quality escalations for the activities in scope of the service to L2 support teams .
•    Ensures that the knowledge base is up to date.
•    Receiving and cascading the knowledge to the team members.
 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

•    B.Sc. in Computer or Communication Engineering or Computer Science is a plus (not mandatory)
•    1 / 3 year IT experience (Familiar with Technical support field)
•    Excellent written and spoken English is a must.
•    OS intermediate level of knowledge (Linux & Win )
    


Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    Good troubleshooting skills 
•    Different Operating Systems Knowledge (Microsoft , Unix / Linux, etc...)
•    Sell scripting knowledge is a plus
•    ITIL knowledge is a must.
•    Experience using different analytics & reporting tools
•    Identification of coherences between individual messages of systems and customers
