About this Role
We are seeking a Network Data Scientist to design and develop analytical models and insight packs that transform raw data into actionable intelligence. This role supports local and partner markets, as well as corporate accounts, by applying predictive and descriptive statistical techniques across diverse data stores. The individual will collaborate closely with commercial teams and play a key role in business decision-making processes.
What you’ll do
- Build, test, and deliver analytical models using new datasets to support specific use cases.
- Prepare and cleanse data, optimise SQL and NoSQL queries, and implement statistical models.
- Develop descriptive and predictive models for targeted segments such as markets, products, and services.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to present actionable insights derived from analytical outputs.
- Participate in business analysis and document specifications for information requests.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience, ideally within international and distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to communicate complex findings in plain language.
- Experience with advanced analytical techniques including descriptive, predictive, and optimisation models.
- Proficient in SQL and databases such as Teradata, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their real-world applications.
- Skilled in statistical tools such as Python, R, SAS EM, MATLAB, SPSS, and Teradata Warehouse Miner.
- Academic or professional background in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
