What you’ll do

The Senior Cyber Security Manager is responsible for the provision of expert knowledge and influences the cyber security activities, aligning global cyber security risk reduction with local market business and technology priorities and to the global cyber security strategy to be implemented in the local markets. The Senior Cyber Security Manager focusses upon the management of a team of Cyber Security professionals who protect Vodafone from security threats and reduce risk across Vodafones global technology infrastructure and implements security controls across Vodafone with a single design. Typically reports to the Head of Cyber Security.

Who you are

* Influences strategic decision making related to the cyber security baseline and local authorities to support the achievement of the Technology strategy, operating model and plan;

* Uses advanced analytical thought to influence and assist the technical operation of the Cyber security platforms across their full lifecycle;

* Detects, identifies and responds to security risks and vulnerabilities with an effective management of response plan and robust approach across the security platform lifecycle;

* Provides security understanding to business stakeholders;

* Transforms global security infrastructure management and delivers a consistent operating model that reduces security risk to Vodafone;

* Delivers cyber security improvements and projects in the market to make sure controls are effective and develops future security capability strategies with strategic partners/vendors;

* Supports internal negotiations at a senior level by being centre of excellence on cyber security engineering that co-creates, promotes and enables Cyber Defence best practices across Vodafone;

* Builds solid relations and works closely with Corporate Security and Technology leadership teams, the Executive Committee , local Audit Risk Committee and strategic partners and vendors across the local market/s;

* Leads and manages a team of Cyber Security Engineering and Delivery professionals, and ensures that they deliver transformation of a global Cyber Security capability, improvements and projects in the assigned areas to make sure controls are effective;

* May have accountability for the budget/finances of area.
