Your contribution: 

  • Main responsibility on ensuring the Implementation of Global H&S Standards within the German market and ensuring adequate monitoring and compliance, aligned with Roles and Responsibilities of VT Policies
  • Independently establishing, managing and optimizing new legal and normative occupational health and safety requirements in the structural and process organization in coordination with other departments
  • Ensuring compliance of the occupational safety management system with relevant international and national laws, standards and customer requirements
  • Representing the Tower unit to authorities and employers' liability insurance associations, particularly in the context of hazard prevention
  • Conducting regular supplier site audits and ensure appropriate risk assessment and control measures are in place
  • Involving and educating the executive management, local management and all level employees to quarterly site audits and visits
  • Advising management, HR managers, executives and works councils on occupational safety issues, in particular on the preparation of risk assessments and other legally relevant occupational safety documents
  • Determining and reviewing the implementation of relevant occupational health and safety requirements, as well as carrying out internal and external reporting
  • Planning and implementing training measures, as well as providing and updating relevant information for all employees on the intranet and in digital media
  • Implementation and managing the ISO 45001 - Occupational health and safety management system

 

 

What makes you stand out:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate HSW role in the German market
  • An university degree in safety engineering, ergonomics or a comparable degree as well as an additional qualification as an occupational safety specialist
  • Confident handling of international and national occupational safety standards and their implementation in guidelines and processes
  • Team orientation and good ability to deal with conflicts
  • Fluent German is mandatory, professional English skills written and spoken is required (C1)
