As a Working Student in IT Portfolio Management, you will play a vital role in supporting our IT Portfolio Team. This position is designed for an enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in IT Project Management and a desire to learn and grow in this dynamic field. You will collaborate closely with experienced Project Managers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the efficient operations of the IT Portfolio Team.
Your contribution:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assisting in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to IT projects, such as performance metrics, resource utilization, and project timelines
- Documentation: Helping maintain and update documentation, runbooks
- Coordination of Meetings: Scheduling and organizing meetings for the team, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Supporting communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates on project status
- Demand Management Support: Assisting in tracking and managing incoming project requests, ensuring they are documented, and routed through the approval process
- Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies in the current processes and suggesting improvements. This could include streamlining documentation processes or improving communication channels
What makes you stand out:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a field related to the job description
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Environment & Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, Forms etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Structured way of working according to the tasks at hand for self and the team
- Experience with the visualization tools like Power BI is nice to have
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken), German is a nice to have
