Data Core Network Specialist

for our Technology Department

Your place in the team 

Operation and Maintenance of the Vodafone Hungary Data Core network, systems, platforms and services under its responsibility, keep contact with suppliers, internal partners and organizations.
Work involves end-to-end business and part of a team to provide 24/7/365 operational support for systems and the applications for the related Data Core Network area. 


You will be involved in the following tasks  

Basic Tasks

•Trouble Ticket handling from any 1st line operations and handling customer complaints as well
•Raise problem management tickets
•Fault analysis and resolution, service continuity assurance


Normal Tasks

•Leading technical analysis and resolution of a diverse range of incidents impacting live services. Accountable for the team response to service disruption, and also supports proactive measures aimed at preventing recurrence
•System and application performance management, monitoring of system performance and statistical reporting
•Activate new functionalities, new applications and services, do required configuration in strong cooperation with Engineering part of the team (with no Accountabilities), SW version and patching follow-up, HW expansion and implementation
•On Call during out of normal working hours 

We are looking for you if you have
•MSc. or BSc. in Computer/Industrial/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
•At least 1-3 years working experience in mobile network environment
•Good command in written and spoken English
•Broad overview of the NW and Services infrastructure, deep knowledge and experience in his/her specific technical area
•Excellent analytical skill, structured thinking and system approach
•Perform planned works and upgrades in test and in live networks
•Deep knowledge of Operating Systems, IP networks, Databases, Telecom Networks
•Provides long term and stable solutions for NW problems
•Familiarity with using a range of diagnostic and monitoring tools
