Location: Reading/Woking/Crawley/Croydon/Slough + Field based 
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What You'll Do 

 

To provide a professional level engineering service on both assure (Faults) and provide MACDs (Move, Add, Change and Delete) activities for our customer on behalf of Vodafone.  

 

The role will be Working alongside our project/ engineers for project delivery in order to achieve the delivery of each assigned project stream as expected by both client and the company. You need to be able to manage risk and costs and ensuring all quality and health & safety requirements are met. 

 

  • Deliver a Data Cabling project to the customer's expectations. 
  • Ability to work at height - using ladders, podium steps and access platforms.
  • Carry out surveys of customer premises and report upon findings from an installation point of view.
  • Working from plans, marked drawings and following crib sheets. 
  • Carrying out network cabling installations within customer premises (copper and fibre). 
  • Carrying out Duct works using cobra and other tools. 
  • Fibre splicing single mode and multimode.

Who You Are

 

  • Be able to install copper/ fibre. Installing Copper in a Commercial environment is highly desirable. 
  • Experience/ knowledge of firestopping.
  • Hold / eligible and willing to obtain – SC clearance.
  • Experience as a commercial electrician with containment would be advantageous.
  • Exposure/ willing expand your understanding of the Vodafone business and align with H&S policies and develop skills.
